Founder & Director
Randa Habelrih is the founder and director of Autism MATES.
She is a passionate advocate and voice for those living on the spectrum. Randa is an award winning speaker, author, autism advocate and mother of an amazing young man with autism.
Known as the Gentle Giant, Elias has volunteered for over 15 years as basketball coach for Sydney East Special Olympics because his son Richard’s team needed a coach. Now Head Coach for the Sydney East region, he not only coaches but takes athletes away to regional competitions, and drives the team bus!
Emily is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Post Graduate Diploma of Psychology and a Masters of Clinical Psychology. Emily has a specific interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delay anxiety in children and building self-esteem. Her interests in this area began at an early age, when her younger brother, Richard, was diagnosed with Autism.
Joshua has a Bachelor of Sports Management, Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Joshua completed his tertiary studies in his home state of Queensland but now resides in Sydney, NSW.
He commenced his career as a solicitor in a private law practice and is currently employed as a solicitor with the NSW Government.
